Campaign to reduce speed
close to the coast

At the beginning of the year we launched an information campaign for the reduction of speed close to the coast. The campaign, aimed particularly at large yachts and super yachts, wants to safeguard the band of the first three miles from the coast with the recommendation not to exceed 15 knots of speed, to maintain a protected area where everyone can live safely, both the people and the marine fauna that approaches the coast, as happens in the area of the Cetaceans Sanctuary. It is a small sacrifice that translates into reduced consumption and emissions, even acoustic, for the benefit of the coastal community.

The campaign can become stronger and more viral if, in addition to the promoter, other brands (ports and marinas, associations, yards, media and all those who recognize themselves in these values) join to support it. We aim to sensitize users to help protect the sea near the coast and safeguard it for future generations.
The message will be disseminated throughout 2023, published in about twenty national and international nautical magazines.
